Abstract

ABSTRAK PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Ciater Subang merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil produk teh. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan tepat waktu, maka kegiatan produksi teh harus berjalan dengan lancar. Proses pengangkutan pucuk basah dari kebun teh menuju pabrik membutuhkan kendaraan truk. Perawatan kendaraan truk di PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Ciater Subang hanya melakukan perawatan pada saat kendaraan truk mengalami kerusakan. Perawatan truk yang rutin dilakukan dapat mengurangi biaya yang keluar akibat kerusakan komponen truk secara tiba-tiba oleh karena itu, salah satu cara kegiatan perawatan pencegahan pada setiap komponen dapat dilakukan dengan merencanakan frekuensi atau interval waktu pemeriksaan yang optimal agar dapat mengurangi kerusakan komponen dalam proses pengangkutan pucuk teh basah. PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Ciater Subang memiliki 6 (enam) truk dengan tahun kendaraan yang berbeda�beda. Dari hasil perhitungan age replacement interval waktu optimal dalam melakukan penggantian pencegahan yaitu pada kendaraan D 8487 DI pada komponen kampas rem dilakukan pada setiap 900 km dengan ekspektasi biaya penggantian pencegahan sebesar Rp. 667,77/km, karet rem setiap 1.000 km dan biaya penggantian pencegahan sebesar Rp. 334,56/km, per depan no.1 setiap 1.000 km dan biaya penggantian pencegahan sebesar Rp. 1.371/km, per depan no.2 setiap 1.000 km dan biaya penggantian pencegahan sebesar Rp. 1.294/km, per belakang no.1 setiap 1.500 km dan biaya penggantian pencegahan sebesar Rp. 2.528/km dan per belakang no.2 setiap 1.500 km dan biaya penggantian pencegahan sebesar Rp. 2.275/km.Terdapat usulan saran untuk jadi bahan pertimbangan kebijakan perawatan kendaraan truk dengan menerapkan preventive maintenance policy pada truk dan komponennya agar lebih terjadwal dan dapat mencegah sebelum terjadinya kerusakan. To meet customer needs on time, tea production activities must run smoothly. The process of transporting wet shoots from the tea garden to the factory requires a truck. Truck maintenance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII Ciater Subang only performs maintenance when the truck is damaged. Routine truck maintenance can reduce costs incurred due to sudden damage to truck components, therefore, one way of preventive maintenance activities on each component can be done by planning the optimal frequency or interval of inspection in order to reduce component damage in the transportation process. wet tea shoots. From the calculation of age replacement, the optimal time interval for preventive replacement is on the D 8487 DI vehicle on the brake lining component every 900 km with an expected preventive replacement cost of Rp. 667.77/km, brake rubber every 1,000 km and preventive replacement costs of Rp. 334.56/km, front no.1 every 1000 km and the replacement cost of prevention is Rp. 1.371/km, per front no.2 every 1000 km and preventive replacement costs of Rp. 1,294/km, per rear no.1 every 1,500 km and preventive replacement costs of Rp. 2,528/km and per rear no.2 every 1,500 km and preventive replacement costs of Rp. 2.275/km. There are suggestions for consideration for truck maintenance policies by implementing a preventive maintenance policy on trucks and their components so that they are more scheduled and can prevent damage before they occur.
