Laporan Tugas Akhir, Program Studi DIII Administrasi Logistik Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional, Bandung, Pembimbing Utama: Dr. Edi Supardi, SE., MM., AAAIK, Pembimbing Pendamping: Eduard Sondakh, S.Si., MT PT Pos Indonesia merupakan perusahaan BUMN yang bergerak di bidang jasa kurir, logistik, keuangan, dan layanan ritel lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengoptimalan rute distribusi pengiriman kartu perdana dan voucher menggunakan metode Least Cost Method (LCM) di PT Pos Indonesia – Warehouse Telkomsel Bandung. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah tingginya biaya distribusi yang belum dioptimalkan secara efektif sehingga diperlukan suatu metode perhitungan untuk meminimalisasi pengeluaran perusahaan. Data yang digunakan meliputi supply sebesar 6.000 box dari gudang Bandung dan demand yang tersebar ke lima kota tujuan, yaitu Tasikmalaya, Garut, Majalengka, Cirebon, dan Subang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengoptimalan rute distribusi pengiriman kartu perdana dan voucher menggunakan metode Least Cost Method (LCM) di PT Pos Indonesia Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan distribusi dengan metode LCM menghasilkan total biaya transportasi sebesar Rp46.900.000. Angka tersebut lebih rendah dibandingkan biaya aktual perusahaan yang mencapai Rp66.300.000, sehingga terdapat penghematan sebesar Rp19.400.000 atau sekitar 29,26%. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa metode LCM dapat menjadi alat analisis yang efektif dalam menentukan alokasi distribusi yang lebih efisien, sekaligus memberikan rekomendasi bagi perusahaan untuk menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dalam perencanaan logistik. This study aims to analyze the optimization of distribution routes for starter package and voucher deliveries using the Least Cost Method (LCM) at the PT Pos Indonesia–Telkomsel Warehouse in Bandung. The background of this study is the high distribution costs that have not been effectively optimized, necessitating a calculation method to minimize company expenses. The data used includes a supply of 6,000 boxes from the Bandung warehouse and demand spread across five destination cities: Tasikmalaya, Garut, Majalengka, Cirebon, and Subang. The purpose of this study is to analyze the optimization of distribution routes for sending starter packs and vouchers using the Least Cost Method (LCM) at PT Pos Indonesia. The research results show that distribution calculations using the LCM method yielded total transportation costs of Rp46,900,000. This figure is lower than the company’s actual costs of Rp66,300,000, resulting in savings of Rp19,400,000 or approximately 29.26%. This finding demonstrates that the LCM method can serve as an effective analytical tool for determining more efficient distribution allocation, while also providing recommendations for the company to adopt a quantitative approach in logistics planning.
