Penerapan Metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) Dalam Pemilihan Vendor Pada Proses Pengadaan Material Kabel di PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi Jawa Barat (Tugas Akhir, Program Studi DIII Administrasi Logistik, Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya ketidaksesuaian antara keputusan pemilihan vendor dan hasil evaluasi kinerja yang dilakukan sebelumnya. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi proses pemilihan vendor dalam pengadaan material kabel di PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) Jawa Barat dengan menerapkan metode Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Penelitian dilaksanakan selama Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) melalui observasi langsung, wawancara, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada tiga responden dari tim pengadaan. Lima kriteria utama digunakan dalam evaluasi, yaitu kualitas, harga, waktu pengiriman, layanan, dan kepatuhan. Hasil analisis AHP menunjukkan bahwa kualitas merupakan kriteria paling dominan dengan bobot 0,45, diikuti oleh harga (0,25), waktu pengiriman (0,15), layanan (0,09), dan kepatuhan (0,06). Dari tiga vendor yang dianalisis, Vendor A (PT KWI Wire and Cable Tbk) memperoleh bobot tertinggi sebesar 0,7 dan direkomendasikan sebagai vendor terbaik. Hasil penelitian ini berbeda dengan keputusan aktual perusahaan yang memilih vendor dengan bobot lebih rendah. Perbedaan ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pengambilan keputusan di lapangan belum sepenuhnya berbasis evaluasi kinerja yang objektif. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode AHP terbukti efektif memberikan hasil evaluasi yang sistematis, transparan, dan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan, sehingga dapat dijadikan dasar pertimbangan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengambilan keputusan pemilihan vendor di masa mendatang. vii Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional ABSTRACT Utami, Ilmi Rizki 2025. This study was motivated by the discrepancy between vendor selection decisions and the results of previous performance evaluations. The objective of this study is to evaluate the vendor selection process in the procurement of cable materials at PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) Jawa Barat by applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The research was conducted during the Field Work Practice (PKL) through direct observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to three respondents from the procurement team. Five main criteria were used in the evaluation: quality, price, delivery time, service, and compliance. The AHP analysis results showed that quality was the most dominant criterion with a weight of 0.45, followed by price (0.25), delivery time (0.15), service (0.09), and compliance (0.06). Among the three vendors analyzed, Vendor A (PT KWI Wire and Cable Tbk) received the highest weight of 0.7 and was recommended as the best vendor. The results of this study differ from the company's actual decision to select a vendor with a lower weight. This discrepancy indicates that the decision- making process in the field is not yet fully based on objective performance evaluation. Thus, the application of the AHP method has proven effective in providing systematic, transparent, and accountable evaluation results, thereby serving as a basis for consideration to improve the quality of vendor selection decision-making in the future.
