Abstract

STIMLOG Indonesia ABSTRACT Koperasi Peternak Selatan Selatan (KPBS) Pangalengan is a primary cooperative in the field of cow dairy farming in the Pangalengan area, South Bandung and has been established since 1969. The main problem is on the milk pickup route to several Cooperative Service Centers, namely as a place to collect milk from farmers, where the capacity of the vehicle is not fully filled when returning to the Milk Treatment plant. The current route is considered not optimal because each vehicle does not maximize its capacity. This causes waste on vehicle use and transportation costs. The purpose of this study is to determine the pickup route at KPBS Pangalengan based on capacity, time and to compare transportation costs from the existing route to the proposed route. The method used for problem solving in this study uses the Clarke and Wright Saving Heuristic and Nearest Neighbor method of the CVRPTW variant (Capacity VRP with Time Windows) where this method is a calculation to obtain route savings by paying attention to capacity and time constraints. The results of this study compare the initial route with the two methods with the aim of finding more optimal route results for time, capacity, and cost. On the existing route and the proposed route it is known that there is a value of time savings of 10%, saving factor load of 27%, savings on vehicle use with a reduction of 3 (three) vehicles, and savings in transportation costs of Rp 9,014,348. Permasalahan pokok ada pada rute penjemputan susu ke beberapa Tempat Pelayanan Koperasi yaitu sebagai tempat pengumpulan susu dari peternak, dimana kapasitas kendaraan tidak terisi maksimal ketika kembali ke pabrik Milk Treatment. Rute saat ini dianggap belum optimal karena setiap kendaraan tidak memaksimalkan kapasitasnya. Hal tersebut menyebabkan pemborosan pada penggunaan kendaraan dan biaya transportasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menentukan rute penjemputan pada KPBS Pangalengan berdasarkan kapasitas, waktu dan mengetahui perbandingan biaya transportasi dari rute eksisting terhadap rute usulan. Metode yang digunakan untuk pemecahan masalah dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Clarke and Wright Saving Heuristic dan Nearest Neighbour dari varian CVRPTW (Capacity VRP with Time Windows) dimana metode ini merupakan perhitungan untuk memperoleh penghematan rute dengan memperhatikan batasan kapasitas dan waktu. Hasil dari penelitian ini membandingkan rute awal dengan kedua metode tersebut dengan tujuan mencari hasil rute yang lebih optimal terhadap waktu, kapasitas, dan biaya. Pada rute eksisting dan rute usulan diketahui terjadi nilai penghematan waktu sebesar 10%, penghematan load factor sebesar 27%, penghematan pada penggunaan kendaraan dengan berkurangnya 3 (tiga) kendaraan, dan penghematan biaya transportasi sebesar Rp 9.014.348.
