Bappelitbangda Kota Cimahi merupakan lembaga teknis daerah di bidang penelitian dan perencanaan pembangunan yang dipimpin oleh seorang Kepala Badan, yang berada di bawah dan bertanggung jawab kepada Wali Kota melalui Sekretaris Daerah. Dalam menjalankan fungsinya, Bappelitbangda Kota Cimahi membutuhkan fasilitas kerja yang tertata dan terkelola dengan baik, termasuk sistem penyimpanan atau gudang operasional untuk menyimpan dokumen serta barang habis pakai seperti alat tulis kantor (ATK) dan barang inventaris lainnya. Namun, dalam pelaksanaannya, terdapat beberapa permasalahan pada gudang penyimpanan barang operasional di Dinas Bappelitbangda Kota Cimahi, yang berdampak langsung pada efektivitas pelayanan dan keamanan dokumen, karena Barang-barang disimpan secara acak tanpa pengelompokan atau penentuan lokasi yang jelas. Penempatan dilakukan berdasarkan ruang kosong yang tersedia tanpa sistem tertentu, sehingga pencarian barang mengandalkan ingatan petugas. Masalah ini menyebabkan keterlambatan operasional internal yaitu meningkatnya potensi kesalahan pencatatan atau pengambilan barang, serta menurunnya akurasi pengelolaan inventaris. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, penulis menggunakan metode dedicated storage pada gudang operasional dinas Bappelitbangda Kota Cimahi yang memberikan hasil yang signifikan dalam penataan dan pengelolaan ruang penyimpanan barang yang ada di gudang. Penerapan metode ini menghasilkan untuk penerapan setiap jenis barang dilakukan pada lokasi tetap berdasarkan tingkat pergerakan (throughput), kebutuhan ruang (space requirement), dan nilai assignment. Analisis perhitungan assignment dan rancangan layout usulan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan efisiensi dalam memaksimalkan kapasitas rak penempatan barang operasional yang ada . Perhitungan nilai assignment tertinggi yaitu cartridge printer dengan nilai 65,1. Selanjutnya diikuti oleh alat tulis kantor yaitu 48,5, Kertas HVS A4 dengan nilai 40,4 dan Kertas HVS F4 dengan nilai 39,3. Dengan penempatan rak masing-masing sejumlah 1 rak. Sedangkan untuk untuk perhitungan nilai assignment terendah yaitu dokumen bidang esda dengan rata-rata nilai 36 dengan penempatak rak masing- masing 2 rak. PROPOSAL FOR IMPROVING THE LAYOUT OF OPERATIONAL WAREHOUSES IN THE DEPARTMENT OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING, RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT (BAPPELITBANGDA) OF CIMAHI CITY BY IMPLEMENTING THE DEDICATE STORAGE POLICY. The Cimahi City Bappelitbangda is a regional technical institution in the field of research and development planning led by a Head of Agency, who is under and responsible to the Mayor through the Regional Secretary. In carrying out its functions, the Cimahi City Bappelitbangda requires well-organized and managed work facilities, including a storage system or operational warehouse to store documents and consumables such as office stationery (ATK) and other inventory items. However, in its implementation, there are several problems in the operational goods storage warehouse at the Cimahi City Bappelitbangda Office, which have a direct impact on the effectiveness of services and document security, because the goods are stored randomly without grouping or determining a clear location. Placement is carried out based on available empty space without a specific system, so that searching for goods relies on the memory of officers. This problem causes internal operational delays, namely an increased potential for errors in recording or retrieving goods, as well as a decrease in the accuracy of inventory management. To solve these problems, the author uses a dedicated storage method in the Cimahi City Bappelitbangda operational warehouse which provides significant results in the arrangement and management of goods storage space in the warehouse. The application of this method results in the application of each type of goods being carried out at a fixed location based on the level of movement (throughput).space requirements, and assignment values. Analysis of assignment calculations and the proposed layout design shows an increase in efficiency in maximizing the capacity of existing operational goods placement racks. The highest assignment value calculation is for printer cartridges with a value of 65,1. This is followed by office ststionery with a value 48,5, A4 HVS paper with a value of 40,4 and F4 HVS paper with a value of 39,3. With each shelf placement of 1 shelf. Meanwhile, the lowest assignment value calculation is for field documents with an average value of 6-7 with each shelf placement of 2 shelves.
