Laporan Tugas Akhir, Program Studi DIII Administrasi Logistik Universitas Logistik dan Bisnis Internasional, Bandung. Pembimbing: Dr. Ali Mohamad Rezza. ST., MM Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis beban kerja staf di Divisi Administrasi Ekspedisi PT Sansan Saudaratex Jaya, khususnya selama periode April hingga Mei 2025, yang mengalami lonjakan volume pengiriman. Dengan hanya empat orang staf tetap, divisi ini menghadapi kondisi overload akibat meningkatnya jumlah pengiriman dari rata-rata 50–70 shipment per hari menjadi 100–110 shipment per hari. Penelitian menggunakan dua pendekatan kuantitatif, yaitu metode Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) dan Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN), untuk mengukur kesesuaian antara kapasitas tenaga kerja dan volume kerja actual Hasil perhitungan FTE menunjukkan nilai 1,15, yang mengindikasikan kondisi overload ringan di mana staf bekerja melebihi kapasitas standar mingguan. Sedangkan analisis WISN menghasilkan rasio 0,87, yang berarti diperlukan tambahan satu orang staf untuk mencapai efisiensi kerja yang optimal. Penelitian juga menggunakan observasi langsung dan wawancara sebagai metode pengumpulan data, dengan cakupan aktivitas meliputi input data, pencetakan dokumen, pelaporan, hingga koordinasi pengiriman. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa beban kerja yang tidak diimbangi dengan penyesuaian jumlah tenaga kerja menyebabkan penurunan efisiensi, risiko kesalahan administratif, dan peningkatan kelelahan karyawan. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar perusahaan melakukan penyesuaian jumlah staf berdasarkan hasil analisis kuantitatif ini. Penggunaan metode FTE dan WISN terbukti mampu memberikan gambaran yang objektif dan akurat mengenai kebutuhan tenaga kerja, serta dapat menjadi alat bantu penting dalam perencanaan sumber daya manusia dan pengambilan keputusan operasional. ST., MM This study aims to analyze the workload of staff in the Expedition Administration Division of PT Sansan Saudaratex Jaya, particularly during the period from April to May 2025, which experienced a surge in shipping volume. With only four permanent staff members, this division faced overload conditions due to an increase in the number of shipments from an average of 50–70 shipments per day to 100–110 shipments per day. The study employs two quantitative approaches: the Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) method and the Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) method, to measure the alignment between workforce capacity and actual workload. The FTE calculation yields a value of 1.15, indicating a mild overload condition where staff are working beyond the standard weekly capacity. Meanwhile, the WISN analysis yielded a ratio of 0.87, meaning that one additional staff member is needed to achieve optimal work efficiency. The study also used direct observation and interviews as data collection methods, covering activities such as data entry, document printing, reporting, and shipment coordination. This study concludes that an unbalanced workload without corresponding adjustments to staff numbers leads to reduced efficiency, increased risk of administrative errors, and heightened employee fatigue. Therefore, it is recommended that the company adjust staff numbers based on the results of this quantitative analysis.
