Analisis Penerapan Metode Forecasting dan Min-Max dalam Pengendalian Persediaan Material kWH Meter pada PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung. Kata Kunci: Persediaan, Forecasting, Min-Max Sektor pelayanan publik, khususnya kelistrikan, memegang peranan penting dalam mendukung aktivitas ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat. PT PLN (Persero) sebagai penyedia utama layanan kelistrikan nasional dituntut untuk menjaga efisiensi operasional, termasuk dalam pengelolaan persediaan material. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengusulkan penerapan metode Forecasting dan Min-Max guna mengoptimalkan pengendalian persediaan material kWh meter di PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung. Data historis selama 18 bulan menunjukkan pola permintaan bersifat horizontal, sehingga digunakan metode peramalan Single Moving Average (SMA), Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) dan Weight Moving Average (WMA). Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi akurasi, metode SMA 12 periode dipilih karena memiliki nilai MAPE sebesar 15%, yang termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil forecast digunakan untuk menghitung kebutuhan safety stock, persediaan minimum, dan maksimum menggunakan metode Min-Max. Perbandingan dengan kondisi existing perusahaan menunjukkan bahwa metode Min-Max menghasilkan nilai persediaan yang lebih rendah tanpa meningkatkan risiko stockout. Dengan demikian, penerapan metode ini dinilai lebih efisien dan sistematis dalam mendukung pengendalian persediaan material kWh meter di perusahaan. viii ABSTRACT Salsabila, Salma. 2025. Keywords: Inventory, Forecasting, Min-Max The public service sector, particularly electricity, plays a vital role in supporting the economic and social activities of society. PT PLN (Persero), as the main provider of electricity services in Indonesia, is required to maintain operational efficiency, including in the management of material inventory. This study aims to propose the implementation of Forecasting and Min-Max methods to optimize inventory control of kWh meter materials at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Bandung. Historical data over 18 months indicates a horizontal demand pattern, leading to the use of Single Moving Average (SMA), Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) and Weight Moving Average forecasting methods. Based on accuracy evaluation, the 12-period SMA method was selected due to its Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value of 15%, which falls within the good category. The forecasting results were then used to calculate safety stock, minimum inventory, and maximum inventory using the Min-Max method. A comparison with the company’s existing condition shows that the Min-Max method results in lower inventory levels without increasing the risk of stockouts. Therefore, the application of this method is considered more efficient and systematic in supporting inventory control of kWh meter materials at the company.
